OrderVault — Privacy Policy
What the extension reads
When you click the OrderVault icon on a supported marketplace order page, it reads the contents of that page in order to build an invoice or receipt: the order number and date, the items, the prices, the totals, the seller name, and the delivery address shown on the page.
It reads that information only at the moment you click the icon, only on the tab you are looking at, and only on the marketplace domains listed in the extension's permissions. It does not read any other website, and it does not run in the background.
Where that information goes
Nowhere. The order details are held in your browser's memory only for as long as it takes to render the document, and are discarded immediately afterwards. They are never uploaded, never written to a remote database, and never shared with the developer or with any third party.
The PDF is produced by your own browser's built-in print-to-PDF, so the file is created on your machine and stays there.

Local storage is deliberately used instead of synced storage, so your company details are not uploaded to your Google account. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.
Permissions, and why each one exists
- storage — to save your company profile on this computer.
- Access to specific marketplace sites (the domains named on the store listing) — to read the order page you ask it to read. The extension requests access to those sites only; it cannot see any other site you visit.
OrderVault requests no other permissions. It does not use <all_urls>,
does not access your browsing history, bookmarks, downloads, cookies, or clipboard except
when you explicitly click "Report a problem with this page".
Reporting a problem
If a marketplace changes its page layout and a figure cannot be read, the "Report a problem with this page" button copies a short technical report to your clipboard so you can send it to us. That report contains which fields could be read and how confidently — for example "total: missing, items: ok" — together with the site's domain and the extension version. It never contains the values of those fields, your order details, your address, or anything else identifying you. Nothing is sent automatically; you choose whether to send it.
Children
OrderVault is a business tool and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date at the top will change. If a future version of the extension ever collected data — it does not today — that would be described here before the change shipped.
